…which is me, apparently.  I have been asked to take part in a panel at Open School East on November 11th with the glorious title ‘Capitalist Artist Scum’.  This is the second of two events intended to debate the many tensions that arise (and which have arisen for many, many years) around the relationship between art and capitalism.  My involvement stems from my long-term role as ‘spokesperson/emissary’ for Goldin+Senneby’s Headless project, in which, in various ways, we have mimicked, provoked and critiqued the relationship between art and capital, but have also, in deliberately problematic ways, blurred the distinction.

It should be fun, please come along.
