The recently-published novel Headless, in which I appear as a rather hapless version of myself alongside many others involved in Goldin+Senneby’s eponymous project, is the subject of a series of launch events in cities across Europe and the USA in the next couple of months.

There have already been two small events.  The first, in LA in February, brought together author Joshua Cohen, ‘conceptual entrepreneur’ Martine Syms and the ever-wonderful anthropologist Bill Maurer to discuss Offshore Finance, Bataille, Xenospace and Murder at the LA Art Book Fair.

The next major launch event will be hosted in New York on May 13th at which novelists Joseph O’Neill and Katie Kitamura, artist Jill Magid and Prof. Mary Poovey (one of my personal intellectual heroes) will read sections of the book and discuss…
